WELCOME TO KLEINPLAAS GUESTHOUSE
Kleinplaas is a small intimate guesthouse, situated on the slopes of Paarl Mountain with magnificent views over the Paarl Valley and distant Drakenstein Mountains.
Nestled in the shadow of Paarl Rock, Kleinplaas offers self catering accommodation as well as the option of a hearty breakfast in the garden, enjoying the views.
The building was once the studio of well-known South African artist David Botha and it remains a haven with the peaceful ambiance which he created.
Old olive and cypress trees meet our guests as they take the windy road up to the guesthouse.
Three uniquely furnished en-suite double rooms with fireplaces open onto a terrace and a garden where guests can enjoy the views and breakfast.
A separate kitchen and dining room offer a self catering option.
The renovated cottage in the woods is secluded and provides ultimate privacy. It is open plan with self catering amenities and an outside braai. The cottage is ideal for a family or for breakaway weekend for a couple.
Walks into the mountain and trails for mountain biking can be reached from Kleinplaas.
The sight of our purebred Arabian horses strolling between the granite rocks or training for their next show, adds to the feeling of tranquillity of Kleinplaas.
Kleinplaas Guesthouse is ideal for small intimate weddings or small functions. Photo opportunities are endless, whether it would be scenes at the stables, at the old wrought iron gates, in the bush or in the garden.
Along with its natural beauty, Kleinplaas almost lies in the centre of Paarl and conveniently close to all historic sites and highly acclaimed restaurants.
Cape Town and its international airport and the Atlantic and Indian Oceans lie nearby and historic towns such as Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Tulbagh, are all within a thirty minute drive. This makes Paarl an ideal holiday or business destination.
